Birmingham Baron’s Baseball Season Kick-Off!
Get ready because the baseball season for Birmingham Baron’s is about to start!
Head over to Regions field this April to watch your favorite hometown teams battle it out on the playing field.
Fido Fest at the Summit
The Summit is celebrating its 3rd Annual Fido Fest that is benefitting Hand In Paw and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society this APRIL! We think this is going to be one “PAWsome” event. Why? Because there is going to be live music, pet adoptions, balloon artists, face painting, pet caricatures and even more! We know your furry little pets are going to be so excited to socialize with other little puppy friends! This event starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 7. The best part? ADMISSION IS FREE!!
And if you missed Fido Fest this year, don’t worry! Your 4-legged friend can also socialize at our city’s annual pet parade.
8th Annual Girls Inc. Cajun Cook-off!!
Ready to get your ragin’ cajun on?? Better pull out the boots and cowboy hats because the 8th Annual Girl Inc. Cajun Cook-Off is right around the corner on Saturday, April 7th. Dedicate your day to live music from the Swamp Poppas and sampling delicious Cajun favorites such as gumbo, jambalaya, po’ boys, shrimp and grits and bread pudding. The coolest part is that it’s all prepared by cook-off competitors. We hope you join the food-filled fun at Railroad Park because this event is a must! The cook-off is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and tickets are $25 for adults. Children 12 and Under get in free!
Alabama Coffee Fest
CALLING ALL COFFEE LOVERS!!! We have an event that’s absolutely perfect for you. On April 21st, the first-ever Alabama Coffee Fest is going to take place at our very own Cahaba Brewing Company! There will be featured curated roasters and coffee shops sharing their favorite beans and discussing flavors and consistency with guests while enjoying live entertainment, delicious pastries and a one-of-a-kind coffee culture experience. Live demonstrations, coffee tastings and live latte art creations will complete the event. Tickets start at $15, and the event runs from 9 a.m. until noon! You will absolutely not want to miss this incredible event!
